Warehouse Logistics Manager - 1 Position

Job Summary

 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, ensuring efficient logistics, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse management processes.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving operations.
  • Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
  • Oversee team management, providing guidance and training to warehouse staff to enhance performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while promoting a safe working environment.
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Facilitate heavy lifting tasks while ensuring proper techniques are followed to prevent injury.
  • Coordinate logistics for efficient transportation of goods to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space to optimize workflow.

Education: High school diploma is required; an undergraduate degree is a plus.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, inventory control, and logistics management.
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Mechanical knowledge is preferred for troubleshooting equipment issues effectively.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of warehouse operations.

Required Skills:

  • English speaking and writing proficiency are must.
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Strong organizational skills and a team player.
  • Ability to work in hot temperatures within the warehouse.
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products (50 Lbs.)
